Our story

Careloop was not born from theory. It was born from years of living, working, leading and building within the care sector.

We understand care from the inside. The pressures faced by carers, the challenges agencies experience in recruiting and retaining good people, and the difficulties clients and families can face when trying to find care that truly feels right.

We have seen the care sector at its very best — compassionate professionals changing lives every single day.

But we have also seen its gaps.

Carers who give so much, yet often feel invisible.
Talented professionals whose years of experience can become little more than a name on a rota.
Agencies with exceptional people who do not always have enough opportunity to showcase the quality of their workforce.
Clients and families who may be allocated care without having enough information or choice about who enters their home, understands their culture, speaks their language or simply makes them feel comfortable.

Careloop was created because we believe the care sector can do better when the people within it are better connected.

Behind Careloop is a team with significant professional experience across health and social care, leadership, workforce management, business development and frontline service delivery.

Careloop is not being built by people looking at the care sector from the outside. Every day across the UK, carers get up early, travel from home to home, support people through some of their most vulnerable moments and often return home having carried far more emotionally and physically than anyone will ever see.

Some have spent decades working in care.

Some have arrived in the UK and rebuilt their lives through the profession.

Some are studying, gaining new qualifications and dreaming of becoming nurses, managers, business owners or specialists.

Yet too often, all of that experience, ambition and personality remains invisible. Careloop wants to change that.

Careloop is also built around a simple belief:

Needing care should never remove your right to have preferences.

Two carers may have exactly the same qualification and still provide completely different experiences.
